Obama wins at Grant Park Chicago

My roommate and my friend Daniel were bored the night of Nov. 4th, 2008. So, since we live on campus at UIC, we decided to head down to Grant Park to see what was up at the Obama Victory party!! 10 minute train ride plus a 5 minute walk brought us to Grant Park! People were EVERYWHERE and all just to see our brand new President speak to the American people, and Chicago, for the very first time! ^^ I myself am Conservative, but I've put away my disappointment and put forth my support for our new President. Divided we fall.

... I feel like the odd one out, I am diehard conservative but, I do however have high hopes for Obama's presidency. I agree with Rikku, divided we fall.( As much as I don't like it, I will support Obama.

I can't tell you how much it excites me to hear "diehard conservatives" who are graciously willing to see what happens. It's so wonderful and makes it that much easier to believe what Obama says - not Red America or Blue America but the United States of America.

OMG, you were so lucky! Barack Obama is truly a legend! I think he will only do good things for this country. Let's hope to see change for the better!
