Before this battle perhaps for certain things, an episode or two ago, I did a few things with my party, etc etc:

1. Characters reincarnated around level 45 to 60
- Laharl
- Cossette (Archer to Blademaster (Samurai)).
- Jing (Rogue to Raider)
- Pocky (Green Skull to Star Mage) and renamed Ayeka
- Nina (Healer to Prophet).

2. Leveled up characters with statisticians and increased weapon mastery with some armsmaster specialists.

3. Unlocked some extra Hospital prizes like Sofia's Mirror. Pravda Pendant being the next for the ALL boosters isn't that difficult to get either. Collecting the items when they are rare or have specialists you want is the way to go, so you may exit and re-enter the hospital as you please until you get the item you desire.

This battle isn't that tough, I personally like to lure the enemies off of there spots with the first character on the first turn and then rush the enemies with Laharl and other of your stronger units, including mages as they can still cause some mean damage too. I like my new Ronin / Samurai girl to which I reincarnated her to a Blademaster. I decided that the Axe would be a great weapon to effectively take advantage of her 110% aptitude in Attack.

Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (魔界戦記 ディスガイア, Makai Senki Disugaia?, lit. "Battle History in the Evil World: Disgaea") is a tactical role-playing video game developed by Nippon Ichi Software and published by Nippon Ichi Software in Japan, Atlus USA, Inc. in North America, and Koei in Europe for the Sony PlayStation 2 video game console. It was first released in Japan on January 30, 2003, and was later released in North America on August 27, 2003, and in Europe on May 28, 2004. Nippon Ichi has also licensed or produced a wide variety of Disgaea merchandise, including a manga. In 2006, Nippon Ichi released a sequel called Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories for the PlayStation 2, as well as a 12 episode long anime titled Makai Senki Disgaea. A North American version of Disgaea for the PlayStation Portable was released on October 30, 2007 dubbed Disgaea: Afternoon of Darkness. The handheld version of game was released on November 30, 2006 in Japan. A second sequel, Disgaea 3: Absence of Justice, was released for the PlayStation 3 on August 26, 2008.

Disgaea DS
On March 5, Weekly Famitsu stated that there had been an official announcement for Disgaea DS (魔界戦記ディスガイア 魔界の王子と赤い月, Makai Senki Disugaia Makai no Ōji to Akai Tsuki?, "Netherworld Battle Chronicle Disgaea: The Prince of the Netherworld and the Red Moon") for the Nintendo DS. On March 7, NIS America released a statement on the US release of a new edition of Disgaea: Hour of Darkness for the Nintendo DS. The game will be a port of the PSP version, and will include multiplayer gameplay and Etna mode. In order to fully utilize the Nintendo DS' capabilities, several key improvements will be made to the user interface and game system. However, many features from the PSP edition were dropped, including the option to toggle between English and Japanese dialogue, and many additional voiceovers, probably due to the limited storage capacity of the DS game card.
