Wrong. No animals are skinned alive! When an animal dies its blood clots, and you are able to cut it without any blood. Attempting to skin alive would stain the pelt, making it useless. Fur farms keep their animals healthy. If they are kept cramped up they get sick, their pelts turn dull; making the pelt useless. When you put a dog down do you break its neck? Fur farms must follow rules similar to vets, painless injections. Most people who buy fur are taxidermists. You can't mount faux fur.

minks are evil little bastards and if they could they would skin and wear you, rabbits make good glove and hat liners, elk and moose make great blankets, deer make great leather, and bears make good rugs.
