They also did make after-market speed change kits for these. If you find the turntable motor turns freely, and the idler is good condition and clean bearings, and turntable has clean bearings, then you might possibly want to check if yours is set to 33. This was a rare mod that some people used in AMIs and Seeburgs with 10-inch record capacity, to allow them to play 10-inch LPs. But most likely, it just needs cleaning.

Good to change the grease in the worm+cog drive..did mine on a model G. Old grease is like gorilla snot after 50 years

Hope its coming along good. The transfer speed is just cleaning those motors and getting new carbon brushes. If the brushes are worn down it won't move very fast. Turntable motor just needs cleaning. AMI jukes are pretty bullet proof but they do get gooked up really easy. Have fun with it. It's a great box!
