if the seizures result from anything else besides epilepsy, you should consult your primary care physician. pain isn't usually experienced before a tonic-clonic ("grand-mal") seizure.

was she born with some kind of seizure disorder such as epilepsy or did the seizures result from head trauma, extreme fever, etc.?

It sounds like she needs to get it checked out if she hasn't already! It's unusual to experience pain during a seizure.

my sister has seizures often and she says that her head kills her really bad right before she starts shaking and her face shows pure pain
