Ha ha, this game is a joke to me and couple of friends now.
I'm not kidding, i'm just looking at the opening sequence and i'm smiling. We just can't be serious while playing this game. Graphics are decent though, but the gameplay is horrible, and holy fuck, Liu Kang is dead!!!!!

@masterofre51 Shang Tsung did not kill Kung Lao, because he was in the game. If he did, and they brought him back, then Liu Kang would have been brought back as well.

@WolvesWithSpliffs What's so bad about the new one. It looks like a very good game. It actually looks like it's going back to the original style while using good graphics. I say Mortal Kombat Armageddon was shit.

This is like the third season of Transformers and the movie (the original one). Both protagonist or main hero dies, and another takes their place. Well not really with someone taking their place, DA, D, and A each had different heroes.
