Many thanks for your video. And this video is a good example how short pip player plays with good chopper. I also watch another Japanese short pip penholder 小野思保. She uses her short pip very well. Do you know 小野思保's rubber & blade ? Thank for your help in advance.

My point stills stands though.

Does Hyogo Kayama use short pips? His style and technique is similiar to Chen Longcan.

@1996Johnny
Yes he does. Back in the day (as in 2002) he used Avalox P500 and TSP Spinpips MD. After Spinpips MD was banned, he switched to Super Spinpips. He also used TSP rubbers like Cesalo and UQ on the backhand though he never used the reverse backhand. In 2007 he signed on with TSP full time and now uses the TSP Albored, a blade that TSP discontinued very many years ago, it was considered to be a clipper clone. If anyone has any other questions, I know many pro's setups.

@takkyu101 Do you know Matsushita's setup?

@8vemam8
Yes, he use(d) the Butterfly Matsushita Pro Model (now out of print since he retired), tackifire drive, and feint long II. He used this set up, up until the very end. I think it would be best to just privately message me, rather than get the video filled up with comments.

@takkyu101
Hi, do you know how much sponge Matsushita used?
diglettdigdig 5 months ago
@diglettdigdig Yes I do. His forehand is listed on many websites as "tokuatsu" which means "super thick" in japanese (meaning 2.1mm-MAX). His backhand is "Chō kyoku-usu" or super thin (.5mm)
