This is a short performance in the style of Francis Bacon captured using the Kinect in Max/Jitter. The video was processed with slight blurring and running average time blur and sped up. Nevertheless, you get a good idea of the spatial resolution at a distance of about one meter.

@csselement The tutorials from Cycling '74 are the best thing around. Be sure to read through the Max "basics" and the Jitter tutorials.

Essentially, it's just [jit.op @op absdiff] -> [jit.op @op *] on the depth map. There's a little bit of blur and cv.jit.ravg processing added.
