Covstock Festival 2008 sees The Music headline on 31st May at the infamous ruins of Coventry Cathedral. Other bands on the bill are Robots In Disguise, Friends of the Bride, Trailer, The Ripps, Hobo Exile Hotel, Men in Caves, King Hermit, Bootleg Poets, The Crooks, Jamsons Nook, The Way, Mommas in the Kitchen, Delta Rush and The Allies.

The gig is in aid of The Bethany Keenan Fund and the Coventry Young Carers. All proceeds go to those charities. Tickets are £17.50 and are available from www.seetickets.com and www.theticketsellers.co.uk.

  • It was shite - the Ripps came out about 5 years ago (they still haven't got anywhere, for a reason). Saw about half of Robots in Disguise which was totally awful and then of course by the 2nd or 3rd The Music song left, like the other 20 people there. Spent 2 hours there in total which cost me 20 quid. I can see why decent bands don't want to play in Coventry (it's a shithole) but at least the charity made a bit of money, eh?
