The Fibonacci sequence in Tool's Lateralus. *3-31-10* Youtube just informed me that EMI owns this music and it's copyrighted, so if they decide to remove the audio, there's nothing I can do about it. It was just for a school project anyway. No big deal. *10-3-11* You can DL this vid here: http://www.philipriehl.com/videos/fib.flv

  • @lokuh90210 You my friend are the gullible one. You see authority as truth, but you don't see truth as authority. Just by coming here and ranting about how shit this song is, you remind me just how much is wrong with the human race. To put it simply, most of us are just too stupid, content or afraid to realise that the majority's way of thinking is not ideal. Yes, you may have your own opinion and I respect that, it's just too bad not all opinions are wise.

  • You might be thinking if this song is ever going to end.

Nope, I'm thinking why this song has to end.

  • Amazing! Definitely my favorite Tool song so far!!! (I'm just getting in to them) Thanks to my cousin and brother for introducing me to Tool!! :)

  • Amazing.

  • I watched this video the night before the Mohegan show. From that point on, I have spent almost all of my time looking into quantum theory and I must say, I feel so much better physically and mentally everyday and feel like I have a new spiritual outlook on life. I thank Tool a lot for that and am glad to know that we r all one. There is no right or wrong "religion". When broken down, they are all the same. Don't b afraid. As they say, "reaching out to embrace the random. Reaching out to embrac

  • @CollinExplosion the song doesn't end. It never ends. If you listen closely, you can still hear it with your "inner ear", even if the outer world is dead silent...

  • Just saw them last night at Mohegan Sun in CT last night. They were fantastic as usual. Just amazing musicians at the top of their game. Setlist was: 1. Hooker w/ a Penis, 2. Jambi, 3. -(Ions), 4. Stinkfist, 5. Ticks & Leeches, 6. Pushit, 7. Schism, 8. Intension, 9. Forty-Six & 2, 10. Lateralus, 11. Ænema

That single sentence has made pretty big difference on my life on a certain period of time, after "over thinking" it a while. It's not always good to try to think everything with logic, as all things can not be understood by that.

If you have a loving heart, always try to listen to it, the heart always knows what to do and when to act. :-)

If you think I'm wrong, I have no problem with that - but I might say that maybe, just maybe.. you just might look back some day say the same ;-)

  • @snewt

    I just saw them at camden,NJ on sunday,the setlist was Hooker with a penis,jambi,(-)ions,Stinkfist,ticks and leaches(danny's solo),pushit,Schism,intension,fortysix&2,lateralus,Aenema.

Absolutely rocked, even though the venue sucks.

  • 381 people never get used to use their brains
