Monster Hunter Freedom 2 Hr 5 Azure Lao Shan Lung Solo Kill Part 2

Hr 5 Quest Lao-Shan Lung Draws Near!

The point of this video is to show people that Azure Lao can be solo killed with an Onslaught Hammer. Also, the reason I used Rathalos Soul Armor was because it is easy to make for anyone who is at this point in the game, and the skills it has are very helpful on this quest. The strategy I used was to constantly attack Lao's belly. I did not jump on his back or use ballistas in this quest. I also did not add the film I had from area 4 because it is the same tactic I used in area 2.

Would a violence hammer at least make him run? Also, can you stack attack and defense boosters (Powertalon + Mega Demondrug & Armortalon + Mega Armorskin)?

@maytrian It might but only if you bring powertalon/powercharm and their defense counterparts. And also mega demondrug isn't very cost effective once you have the aforementioned power boost. I have seen a decent boost from power seeds and they are much easier to get so you wouldn't have to worry about using alot of them.

I just cant kill it >:( I'm using Onslaught with Rathlos Soul my att power is 1174 and I sometimes use power seeds which bumps me up to 1220 or something close to that but all i can do is repel it with 30% of my fort defense left what am I doing wrong I attack the stomach and don't use the dragon bombs, back carving or fort defenses.

@chainlink100 I really don't know what to say. You can try eating a meal in the felyvne kitchen that gives you an attack boost and that would probably get you to around 1300 attack
