@ufomsg1 Yeah well 1970 is when it started bro what do you expect I think he has held up pretty well yeah he doesn't hit those notes the same but I think they still sound damn good after long parting...
@jaminjef, Santers toured with them for Sport of Kings (album following Thunder Seven) tour in '86 , I saw the show in Houston and Santers added nicely to the depth of their sound. The recording of the show in Halifax from the same tour is available on DVD (a Night of Triumph). It is well produced and well worth buying if you are a fan.
I think Rick Santers joined them around the time of Thunder Seven. They previously were almost always a 3 piece. Their music was getting more complex and they didn't wanna go the midi route like fellow Canadians Rush. Rick Santers took over some of the keyboard parts for Mike Levine and played guitar to back up Rik Emmett.

I waited over 20 years for a reunion tour, and now found out there was one. I can't believe they didn't call me to let me know...

One of my favorite bands of all time, but Rik is just a shell of the singer he used to be.

Pretty sure the second guitar is Dave Dunlop who Rik does the Troub's stuff with.
