I like the macro lens cuz it will greatly help me with my calculator tutorials. I need my viewers to see the buttons and be able to hear what i'm talking about too. :) w/o zooming in ofc.

See this is what im thinking everyone is missing this is just Macro lenses and the clearity like that is only UP CLOSE you dont get that from a good distance away

how sturdy is the magnetic bond. Would you trust it to hold if it was mounted somewhere inside of a very bumpy car? Thanks.

do you still have to flip the top switch for macro or the lens pretty much takes care of it?

Thats the most awesome less than $200 investment u cud ever make. I wish sum1 gave me ths for my bday :(. Try making a short film with the cam.

@iPOwLinda Yeah my wide angle is a bit soft and my white walls have a yellow tint with it on. I love the macro lens though! Small depth of field on it, you have to really get it right if not things will be blurry.

@henrychouk I used Final Cut Express to edit videos. Sometimes I use iMovie.

when u attach the wide angle lens, does the image loose quality / sharpness ? or is it just me? also when u attach the macro why does it look blurry on some spots and some really sharp? im about to buy one of this cameras and im really gonna need the wide angle but i dont wanna regret putting the wide angle on and loose sharpness.

@iPOwLinda: This lens is super cheap and you tend to get what you pay for. Having said that, for the price, the clarity is still excellent. The edge sharpness is soft in most wide angle lenses... unless you paid an arm and a leg for it. This little lens about 90% sharp in the central field of view, but the sharpness drops a little at the edges. It's the cheapest wide angle solution I've found.
