I have rode the train from the center of Beijing to the airport. Yes, the train is very slow, but very convenient. You do not need to commute from the city center to the inside of the airport. And if you have the time, you can ride the train from Beijing to Tianjing, the highest speed is 394 km/h currently (it seems that the original technology is from Japan, but it is even faster than the Shinkansen in Japan).
