@wd40isgreat ahhh. was a Floyd fan and especially Roger Waters fan fro years until he did that Berlin wall concert, was what that supposed to signify? Was he was supporting the west, the USA, Reagan even?
But much earlier, he seems to attack Maggie Thatcher ('...Maggie what have we done"?) with his lyrics in the "Animals" album. Some claim Animals was an attack on western capitalism
