gonna try going around..i thought it would flip at the very top/bottom but apprantly it doesnt...found out due to the comment here and wikipedia XD

Wow, this takes me back. Haven't seen the inside of that lift since 1989! I remember a mate getting drunk and being wedged into it, passed out. He went round and round for hours, sleeping sweetly.
They used to tell freshers it flipped over at the top, so you'd end up coming down the other side on your head. LOL.

Ok well that's what I heard off some second years. I heard if you go past floor 5 there is a poster which says "YOU WILL DIE"

@tezmellez No, it doesn't. It's perfectly safe travelling over the top or down the bottom. I've done it many times when I've not paid attention.

Warning note says "Travel past roof or atic is not dangerous,but not recommended." I have heard it detects people in the lift who have gone over to the otherside and it causes an automatic emergency stop.
