Kawai K5000S presets 1

I had only about an hour with this Kawai K5000S. So here is the brief demo. I use only the single presets and some arpeggiator.

@TheReasonableLogic I have a K5000W but the additive synthesis doesn't work.  It needs a new main board. What fun. :/

I see comments concerning the K5000S and alchemy, even the kyma, the thing is, in theory, yeah they are additive so they could sound like the k5000s, but in practice it's a big pain to do it, secondly, just like with alchemy, you have a different source of inspiration with starting material, so it is a matter of sheer user enjoyment, not duplication, I own all three, not selling any of them. fizmo and k5000s are my two favorite digital synths hands down, just get a neptune 2 for analog thaz it.

@gridsleep I got mine for $350 with the memory expansion, wizoo book, a case, and it's mint condition. It was up on craigslist brooklyn a few months ago. Best purchase I've made. Keep an eye out, they're out there.

While K5000 certainly does sound magnificent, Camel Audio Alchemy does all K5000 could do, and MORE. (Has up to 600 partials, while K5000 had up to 64 per source).

These must be as good as I've heard and read. Nobody wants to sell theirs. I have yet to see a K5000S on eBay. I'd buy it in a NY minute.

@BIGSABMUSIC  The K5000W has a sequencer and no arpeggiator. The K5000S and K5000R have the arpeggiator and no sequencer. The K5000 has neither.

how do you get to the appegiators on this keyboard i have a k5000w and dont know how to get to them
