MIRAGE-Optical Illusion Device-Proving Science Right!

My lovely sister gave this to me for my birthday sometime in the late 90's. I thought I'd prove science right for a little change of pace.

I showed this video to a friend at work, and he told me Burger King was giving away smaller versions of this device to the kids, which makes me feel a little silly now. But it's still a cool illusion if you've never seen it.

Correct, the mirrors are concave shaped, and it's simply a reflection.

I remember seeing a scientifically video of this that showed that you do not need a special angle (though that one could have been a better made version idk). As long as the light that gets reflected from the object inside can keep the 45° the image will show up on top (outside).

This is all I could gather without having one, if anyone would like to sell 2 half (both half should be top half) pair of these (or 2 full pairs) please contact me, I would need them for an experiment.
