  • how good would it be living on the back of the canal in those houses,id fish every morning and evening......that would be the life.

  • El Cappitan, keep up the good work. I like the green light video. This is my new strictly fishing channel. Fishing fast and furious, the only way to catch. Have a great weekend.

  • Searching/Fishing for tripletail off of sanibel. I was with my dad.

  • @gonein7 not sure but not that the economy is in the crapper im sure you could find one around the $200k -$300k range. Maybe even a little less depending on the house. there is rentals here in the cape on the water from $900 a month.

  • @steve0sLs1 how much will a house on the canal cost me to buy? lol im serious.

  • @gonein7 I live on one of the canals in the cape and we have lights under the dock that come on every night and bring tons of snook and tarpon all night long. i will never get tired of fishing out there. when i scare them all away from the dock i just take the boat down the the next set of lights. people all over in these canals are getting those lights put out:D great fishing

  • i live in cape coral

  • thats a great fish cptn..they flare their gill plates out and dance just like the monsters..but i'm sure you know there are some bigger ones (80-100#) in those cape canals closer to the river..you just gotta fish for them..but i find they are quite challenging to land in a canal without a boat, or without trespassing through people's backyards!

  • sounds like you are on the right track with the menhaden, i hear they are excellent tarpon baits..are you using live menhaden? sometimes the tarpon will only play with those big live baits and won't eat em..they are big lazy opertunistic feeders, they don't like to hunt down prey..why not try cut bait..pretty much anything fresh, ladyfish is great..even frozen bait will work as long as it is kept in good shape. you are lucky to always see schools, now you gotta get you one, its always a thrill
