Wow, thanks for posting this. Hands down my favorite Dream Syndicate song, and doesn't hurt that Dean Wareham is singing it! Pretty good quality, too.

One can't really compare versions of the songs that are a decade apart. Aesthetics change, moods change, substances change, etc. The original performed live was awesome, and I saw that more than a few times, but this is a competent cover with a different, but nice, vibe. I think it honors the original and is also its own thing. It is what it is. Miss Karl.

Not even close to the original. The band is decent, though they play it too fast for my taste. The vocals blow.
