  • Because the amount of presets are so limited in this kit, can I switch out the sound module from this kit for the sound module from another Roland V-drum kit?

  • @cuvautoofficial I'm not quite sure about this. The sound module has a multi-pin connector that i believe is unique to the HD-1. Each pad has a 1/4" output, which i believe can be used with a different sound module, however, there's something in the back of my mind that has me thinking the cymbals (and maybe the hi-hat) that are to be use exclusively with HD-1 and may not function or function properly with other modules. Anyone care to chime in?

  • Do the ride and crash cymbals come with the drumkit itself?

  • @Mamabuchiyaya

yes, the crash and ride cymbal (and hi-hat, too) are included, and the kit has built in pedals for the kick drum and hi-hat. the extras you will need is a seat, sticks and either headphones or other amplifier. in this video we were wired into a stereo system: a sony receiver and yamaha speakers.
