  • I enjoyed it quite a bit until you bastards started shooting at us. Epic!!

  • whats so bad about wanting to be the biggest and the best? i think that is what makes the germans so reliable. people like hans should be respected not only as pilots but also as men how live their dreams.

  • @CorruptoGrandehe i think he said that "they" were shooting at them. i dont think that if you violated some country's airspace during that period you were welcomed unless you were supporting hitler. other than that hes i a nice chap. and being nazi is not that bad at all. depends how you look at it and who is speaking

so dont get upset. have a toke

  • @extere What? What did he say that enables you to judge his political opinions?

  • CorruptoGrande,

    '

    okay thank explain

  • Very cool video. At least something decent came out of those God awful wars. Well, come to think of it quite a few modern conveniences came out of the wars but I think gliding may be one of the best! :-)

  • @bestamerica actually the long wing is producing a lot of lift for the airplane, while still having almost no drag, because its so slim. It's remarkable engineering to build such a long and slim wing strong enough. This thing has about the best glide angle you can get in airplanes!

  • '

    why need toooo long wing,,,

long wing is a too heavy weight,,,

try cut half wing and light weight

  • Hans-Werner Grosse ein MITUS!!!

  • @markian0803 The ETA is way to big for my taste. It´s performance in a straight line is blistering, but it can´t turn worth a damn. It´s a point and shoot glider. It´s at lot funnier to fly the smaller gliders (15m or 18m classes), they can actually maneuver.

  • @devilliers123 He was flying gliders before WWII, like a lot of other Germans. Because of the Versaille peace treaty, not because of Colditz. And today they are the undisputed leaders of glider design and production, and they deserve it. I have flown a lot of different gliders over the years, but none have matched the German designs. BTW I´m not German.
