Loved this tv drama. It was brilliant. I cried during the final episodes. So sad....Does anyone know if this was big when it was broadcasted. I hope lots of people watched it?? The acting was brilliant and the directing brilliant.

@crystalis0324 maybe coz of the cast...they r all famous n hot actors n actresses...but categorizing this dram into idol drama is kinda ridiculous...its a historical drama...watever it got big success..totally deserved it ^o^

@britbeck6 Oh no, it's definitely categorized/referred to as an idol drama. It's a mainland historical, but definitely an idol drama. Other than costumes and familiar historical figures, an actual mainland historical drama is nothing like this. Perhaps the standards are a bit different than say a Taiwanese, Korean or Japanese idol drama, but it's not an insulting term b/c it was an entertaining and awesome drama.
