Lol I have 7 n there all rescues n not from shelters or anything just seen them on craigs list ECT seen they weren't being treated well so I got them someone had them in a cage with no shelter out side this past winter which for jersey was the coldest in years so I rescued them!

Keep their ears clean, bathe em once every couple months (overbathing makes em smell worse) keep cage clean, and they won't smell. Get ferrets from local rescue, far less expensive then buying from pet store. Google ferret care for more info. I love my 4 ferret girls!

I haven't ever had one but I've always wanted one. I had my dad talked into getting me three until my aunt talked him back out of it -.- I was pissed. She said they smell bad, I like the smell of the actual ferret but I can imagine their poo smells bad. It depends but the average cost per year, first year - $1,000, age 2-3 years - $300 - $600, over 3 - $300- $800
