This is the sad song of the world's first lady pilot, Amelia Earhart, telling how she died during the flight with her partner,Captain Noonan, on July 2,in the 1930's. Her plane fell into the Pacific Ocean and their bodies and plane couldn't be traced and found.

  • Lovely! Nice pickin' and the harmony is great! Just found you on Youtube and this Georgia boy is a fan!

  • Very nice I enjoyed your video Arigato

  • Hey Guys, great job! My daughter is writing a report on Amelia Earhart, and I was familiar with this song, so I searched on YouTube for a version for her to hear. I think yours is the best we found. The playing is great (I particularly enjoy the flat-picking), and the harmony is wonderful. We're from Alabama (home of Hank Williams), so we grew up listening to Country Music, and we really liked your version.
