This song is about a RAPIST named Johnny -- not rape in general. I strongly doubt that John Doe is singing an autobiography here.

Does describing someone's actions as a "hit and run" sound positive ?

X was so brilliant, smart, sharp and strong. And they are still misunderstood !

In his interview about the song (in the documentary this is from, Decline of Western Civilization), John Doe makes clear that if the song isn't pro-rape, it isn't exactly anti-rape either. He says that it's basically just about the ultimate male fantasy -- that he drugs a girl to rape her, but that she is still awake -- that she actually is enjoying/allowing it. Which is actually a bit fucked up imo. But still, a great song.
