  • Nice job. Please provide some info - is the hardware working OK, any known issues? I use ubuntu 11.10 with mine, much faster boot times, with ssd, though. (missed what the hard-disk here is)

  • @ramz7887 Do you mean the main HD? I still have the original 40GB HD (1.8" size), split in half between Xubuntu 11.04 & Windows 7. I have 1GB of RAM, 1.2GHz model. Win7 loads a bit slow but usable once it is running.

    How did you handle the low hard drive memory issue? Have you been using SD cards?

  • @ramz7887 Yup, took me a while to look up the info and the progam to make the boot USB. I do have it running fine now, dual booting with Xubuntu. BTW, the machine also works perfect with Haiku OS ( new port of the old Be OS) in case you want to try something different.

  • Where did you get info to install? I have one w/ 1GB RAM, would like to load Win 7 too.
