    The bokeh doesn't look to pleasing, the sharpness is mediocre (at best), and the depth of field isn't as shallow as one would hope. Maybe this concept would work if you could change the aperture (and it would need a range from f1.2 - f22). And if the fixed lens had some really awesome Zeiss glass to maintain edge to edge sharpness. But for now, I don't see this being a very good option for professional photographers. I don't see this replacing DSLRs anytime soon.

    I use HD, POV, HDR and High Speed camera's for the production of product review videos. This is too expensive for us to shoot a review on, but in the future this could really change the way we use camera.

    Wow. Think of the possibilities. I can see software updates allowing for multiple points of focus, or changing the focal plane to produce tilt-shift type views. Amazing technology!

    how many field layers does it create for the little flash ap?

    also, the focus needs to be manual. auto focus sucks, even if it is software.
