Norco Wolverine - Trail

Trail bike concept isn't just about fullies. Hardtail
bikes have much to tell us, too. This bike is incredibly
agile, frame is very stiff, Shimano SLX/Saint
drivetrain is superb, it also has excellent rims and tires and, of course, Rock
Shox on front to make easier your way down. Enough
geometry, lightweight components and capacity for
climbing and great fun for bombing down!

Hey i got a question

I bought a used 2002 norco 250 and it has only 3 gears in the drivetrain but there is no gear changer on the handlebars

Did the previous user take them off?

And why does it have only 3 gear settings on the back tire?

answer 1: yes, the previous owner took the left shifter off. Probably thinking on a future 1 x 9 setup.

answer 2: I have no idea what you're talking about. Does it have a cassette sprocket with 3 rings only? or is it a 9-ring cassette from which you can only shift 3 gears?

@helmetless yea theres 3 rings on the back tire but theres no gear shifter

thx anyway but the guy i bought it from told me it was supposed to be like that

you just manually change it so it doesnt get in the way of dirt jumping

Great to hear you also have a Wolverine. The bike I have now has a Sektor Coil U-Turn with 20mm thru axle and its AWESOME - also switched that big 2.35 dtc nevegal up front by a 2.1 nevegal stick e, one of the greatest upgrades to save weight and still have confidence for downhill
