its a program like Photoshop CS which you buy, but Corel Painter is mostly for illustration, and not photo editing and stuff. And for better and more professional results, you use a pen tablette, which takes the illustration thing to a higher level. Google "wacom" to see what I mean. Hope I helped ya! :)

I'm thinking about purchasing an intuos 4 - can you tell me, does it feel the same as using a pen or pencil? or is it still kinda shaky like a mouse? I know it is way LESS shaky than a mouse, but I'm wondering just how steady it is compared to actually using pens/pencils?

@Bidon45 It is just as steady as using a pencil, no shaking at all. The Wacom tablet might just be the best money I've ever spent.
