I love bonobos and Kanzi! They are sooooo much cooler than chimps. So much more "human".

They're the same genus. Bonobos are Pan paniscus, and the common chimp is Pan troglodytes.

Bonobos used to be called Pygmy Chimpanzees, so in a way both the Common Chimpanzee and the Bonobo can be referred to as Chimpanzees or Chimps. But if you are differentiating between the two, Bonobo is the popular and more recognised term.

I'm surprised that he didn't get bored while doing this.

This gorilla is smarter than 75% of Philadelphia public school students. I've seen him on a television show vocalizing "yogurt" in what I assume is ape language, to his sister who then pointed on a board like this to yogurt. He also can play pac-man and understands how to win. I'm sure he even knows that it's not proper English to say "i be" or "i is" instead of "i am".
