Koleen Aragon, 6 year old

Koleen was 6. She turn 7 last 19 September 2007.

She came from the same town of Charice Pempengco, Cabuyao, Laguna. She is now a 2nd grader.

Do not ask me anything more about the girl because I have not found her since after that event and i do not know her personally.

I chanced upon a 6-yr old girl, Koleen Aragon, in a local singing contest.

Watch how she belch out the high notes with her powerful voice.

I was aware that the Koleen's songs can not be understood by the international community, but it was not what I intend to feature. I am emphasizing the talent, singing ability, interpretation, stage presence, vocal quality and control, that are independent of the language of the song. Same thing that English-speaking people appreciated Potts "Nessun Dorma" whatever it meant.

On Koleen's attire and appearance: It is customary for young contestant's parents and teachers to make-up their child, as well as to direct them to sing the most difficult piece they can manage IN ORDER to impress the judges.

Koleen Aragon was 6 during this contest (25 August 2007). This was an InterSchool contest, she was in First Grade and her age was provided for qualification requirement. I overhear her birthday was 19 September.

Charice Pempengco has invaded Korean & US TV. I'm proud to tell you that Koleen Aragon & Charice Pempengco came from the same town. Pempenco sang in this same singing contest when she was younger.

Koleen is absolutely, absolutely wonderful! Her nuances and interpretation at 6 yrs old is incredible! She feels the song and sings accordingly. She would be 9 yrs old now: where is she now? can't find anything more about her - what a pity! WHAT A GREAT TALENT! if anybody has anything else on her, please post! I, too, would buy her records!!!:)

This amazing 6yr old is basicaly the same age as Connie Talbot,and the only difference between the two singers is culture wise, Koleen may have done this performance with out the knowlege of her parents,dressing up like she did, and performing flawlessley a love ballad you would not hear from a 6yr old on stage that all little girls dream of !!!!!,(BLESS HER HEART!!!), and got punished for it,(MOST LIKELY!!!), sad to think!! At the end she was very excited with her friend, and the vid ended.

There is not much to review/see on this amazing girl, I see some responses to her sadness , and do not think she is sad or forced into this,It's just her style and her way of expressing a sad song, she is Really wonderful and can sing from the heart. I will hope to see more on Koleen. Thanks for up loading this talented girl...
