Here's thee very awesome Dub Trio performing at Toronto's El Mocambo on November 16, 2008. The show was filmed by me with the band's kind permission.
Please watch in high quality,
Cheers!

  • Great vid!! The only thing that's no good is that it starts about 1/3rd of the way through the song but at least it's high quality. Good job.

  • Thanks 666. And hey, it's about the quality not the quantity. I hit the max 1 gig :p

  • @TheShang7 They use reverbs and delays on the drums quite often

  • anyone know what effects the guitarist is using? Btw great vid, only discovered these guys recently and they've got some sick tunes

  • @JxLamdin090 hell yes it is. experimentation is all well and good, but this, if my memory serves me correctly, was just plain rubbish. and yeahh i know, the world is a better place with all the diversity and experiments and fusion of styles but if i cant go on youtube and be a knobhead then where are we? nowhere, thats where.

  • @louiecostello I love classic dub, a lot. But your comment is very close minded, Dub Trio are just experimenting, and fusing two genres as different as dub and metal is incredibly clever, if we made no room for experimentation in music we'd be listening to the same stuff forever. These 'weedy arty white boys' are three ridiculously clever musicians, is it really your place to be classing what's ok and what's not?

  • Vraiment ils assurent un max! Ils s'écoutent bien, ils sont à fond dedans, le batteur est excellent...

  • does anyone know what kind of drum that is that he hits at 1:38? and if they did anything special to get that sound?

  • wow these guys are good, i played the el mocambo last saturday, looks different than when i was there:P

  • this is why dub should be left to groovy jamaicans not weedy arty white boys. unless its the clash, then its ok

  • absolutely brilliant! does mike patton trigger those reverbs himself?
