Alfonso Velez "Crying Sleeve" @ Jammin Java - -1-17-09

Alfonso Velez left his band at home to perform songs from his new album, THE WEATHER. Saturday night audiences can be noisy with acoustic acts. It even happens to Jeff Tweedy of Wilco. But as the audience's appreciation at the end indicates, Alfonso does fine on his own. The band was with him at Blues Alley (they rocked the house!) and will be on other upcoming dates.
