  • Are you aware that Deltamethrin, the toxic chemical in your mosquito nets kill fish. Fish naturally prey on mosquito larva and help control malaria. They are also a valuable food resource in the developing world.

  • While we innovate and produce PermaNet®, it is our clients (NGOs, charities and governments) which design campaigns to educate local populations on malaria prevention and distribute PermaNet®. This ensures nets are used properly, rather than to catch fish, for example. We are confident that our partners do their utmost to make this happen. What's more, PermaNet® DOES NOT require washing to maintain efficacy, so there is no reason for the nets to come into contact with fish.
