It's a mix of people. But the movement definitely leftist. They're are people at OWS who are against government corporatism who are for the most part capitalists. They think that corporations have too much influence in politics and the legal system. A bunch of them are euro type socialists who desire a more mixed economy. Some of them are Marxist. Most do have a leftist ideology, but I wouldn't call it a pure communist movement.

one thing is certain ,they ALL voted for obama ...the OWS movement is clearly the "special Olympics" of all protest movements ..if these odious little halfwits are actually representative of American college kids ...then we are well and truly f#ked ..god help us .

lots of "hope and change" here. wonder if any of them ever held a job before?

This movement seems to piss you off a great deal. This pleases me.

Perhaps they should "Occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Ave" where the wall street bailout came from in the first place. Obama issued the 2nd largest portion of the initial $787 billion "BAILOUT" to the the banking committee in 2009. So kids, remember as you're playing your bongos ..... "this is what democracy looks like" under Obama.

lol. you're really ignorant to only focus on the people who seem like they don't know shit. yea, i've seen some people at occupy who don't know what the fuck they are talking about, and look and dance like hippies, but most of the people are NOT like that. Most of the people are very intelligent and really know what they are talking about (and are aware that the way socialism/communism have been implemented in the world has oppressed people and not liberated them.)

@leocat99 the only thing i agree with in ocw is all the tits.

Even the drumming sucks.

To Tall Timber: "Appealing to Millions?" Your math is miserable, OWS barely registers in the 5 digits in the whole world.
I note that whenever I see footage from any source, 99% of the attendees look so bad that I am doubtful that many of them ever got hired by anyone. Having a conversation with them is like trying to converse with a drug addict and expecting sense from them.

@DrTallTimber I am a 14 year old boy, who's the son of a middle class man. That man had cancer and had to fight for his life. I question the system of our healthcare and government. Although, I'm not a socialist. I am a libertarian, yet i still don't know if this movement suits my ideals. There' nothing in between the ultimate left-wing and the ultimate right. I honestly don't know who to agree with. It's like having two people who you cant understand argue uncontrollably.
So you wanted to find out if OCW was a political/ideological movement?
Gee...Is an apple a fruit?
Anyhow, nice try at "disproving" the logic of a single sign (note sarcasm). Only several hundred million more pieces of signage to go! Actually, that number should be expanded to billions if we count the Occupy demonstrations that are currently happening on every habitable continent! How interesting that the Tea Party can't boast of having vigorous support from the international community...

@DrTallTimber ...ummm my "single sign" logic WAS sarcasm. Even someone like you could tell it was a communist movement within two minutes of being there.
