Why do muslims get upset about Images of Muhammad(saw)

This was inspired by a question from a brother that is looking towards islam. this question i hope i did it justice in this video. May allah forgive any of my short commings in it.

@naliakbar if you go back to the 80's when they had a movie portraying jesus as gay etc, who were in the streets protesting? was it christians? no the majority of those people were muslims protesting, because of the fact that we love ALL the prophets and respect ALL of them and as such we do not like them to be degraded.

so just like iran got sanctions for their use of freedom of speech i cannot sit here and say i dont understand why the danish people felt the backlash of freedon of speech

@smileyraw what freedom of speech, in america if i were to say i am going to join alqeada, i could end up in jail or at a minimum be under surveillance, so there is no such thing as freedom of speech, isnt it freedom of speech that has iran under so many sanctions, because the president questions the authenticity of the holocaust? so there is no such thing as freedom of speech it is a card used when a person wants to hurl insults, as for christians, they dont respect jesus like muslims do

@THeNoobSoul If you are truly a muslim you should read the entire facts before you jump to a conclusion. if you are truly a muslim you will know of the hadith that the most beloved to you should be Allah, then his messenger, then your mother, then your mother, then your mother then your father. so if someone were to do something to degrade your mother the anger you feel towards that should be 3 times less than what you feel if your prophet(saw) is degraded, think about it if you are truthful

@smiley I am only pointing out the fact that THERE ARE CONSEQUENCES TO OUR ACTIONS, and the fact that when this was publicized the publishers were warned, and you look at the cartoons were they drawn as a celebration of Muhammad(saw) no they were drawn as a way to degrade our prophet(saw), though i do not condone the action of killing for the drawing, i cannot pretend that i dont understand where it is coming from, as i explained in the video, if you want to come up witn your own theory so be it
