here is part two of the review and build vid for this great plane the RAF SE-5a
A few notes of interest in the build

theres lots of screws-use the right ones
the Battery door is delicate to fit -take it easy
the horizontal needs to be screwed "Tight" to hold it in place-Don't over tighten and strip the thread
i would screw the long black screw into the thread on the fuse before fitting the vertical - it was a tight thread on mine

there you go all pretty straight forward and you end up with one beautiful looking WW1 plane

  • Dang, part 2 is as good as part one. Love the wooden propeller idea. Hope you'll be able to try it for the flight video as well. Must be heavier though, so may get a bit nose heavy. What brand did you get that make such a nice prop?

  • @Real6ambler

sorry forgot to answer this been real busy of late haha i bought a cheap 10X8 D Turnigy wooden prop sanded it down then used a wood stain i had, just the stain rag rubbed on hard really as there was enough color in it to give that finish

I weighed it and it came in at 18.6g, then weighed the stock prop and that came in at 17.1g so only1.5g heavier, so i don't reckon that will make any difference at all to the CG
