Mahadevi Verma is considered one of the four pillars of the Chhayawadi yug alongwith Jayshankar Prasad, Sumitranandan Pant and Suryakant Tripathi Nirala.

Deepgeet has poems revolving around Deep. "Baanch li maine vyathaa ki" is the first poem of the book and i felt so hooked with it that i read it again and again. There is something about the poems of that era that you cant just read them, reading only will feel you unsatisfied. Reading poems never brought the Ras out of it, that's why in India we had the concepts of kavi sammelan, where people would sing their Kavita. Now new poets write nayi kavita. Forget about singing its even hard to read them completely.

I tried to compose it and sing it to get the full out of it. This is not an effort to exhibit my singing or any other talent. I know my limitations.But your feedbacks are welcome.
