Ok...so I expect to be teased for this one. Recognize any of these 80's tunes in this mix medley?? Also, I only have one camera so the cut scenes are all created by playing the song over and over and filming it at different angles. This explains why I'm a bit more "sweaty" in some scenes and not in others LOL.

  • Hi Domenic, I have a twelve-year-old who is in her first year of playing on a kit. Your videos are a great motivator and aid for her! Thank you for sharing.

  • @cramcke It's always great to get a compliment about my drumming, but it's even more satisfying to know that I'm inspiring people to play, especially younger kids. I'd really like to be able to teach, but I play by ear and by feel with no rudimentary training at all. It's nice to know that people actually learn from my videos.

  • Could you please tell me how to mix the different songs together like this? I'm planning to do a drum performance for my school talent show but I dont know how to make the music part? Could some one help me?

Btw Awesome video! Was dancing the whole time xP

  • @MigglesDrummer Look for a program on the internet called "Audicity" its a free downloadable audio editing program. You can import mp3's and create different layered tracks. You'll have to trim and manipulate the wave forms of each song to suit your needs.

  • Good stuff. I noticed you're using a Mac. I've just converted too. But, jesus, learning all over again. What speakers do you have connected?

  • @llarose On my Mac? While 'Im in the drum-room I just make due with the internal speakers. After i record i take the computer to my den where i hook it up to a Logitech desktop speaker system.

  • @zorkmen As a musician, ya gotta appreciate every type of music. Even if it's stuff you're not really into. It just helps make you a better musician. I personally don't own any Duran Duran albums....but I liked a few of their tunes. I did make fun of them in my teens, but you learn to respect them as musicians. Geez....if you don't like this one, make sure you don't watch my Jingle Bells cover!

  • @flangstar That was signed by Canadian rock band "Triumph" and Kim Mitchell. They were pretty popular in the late 70' and 80's...in North America at least, I don't know about New Zealand. I won a radio contest with one of my You Tube videos and I got to jam with them. I got the videos posted on YouTube. Look for "Jam with Triumph" on my channel. I've also got some pics posted on my Facebook page.
