Keeping your kitchen organized is key to saving money and time. Even though not blessed with a designer kitchen, with a little creativity - we can still speed up our time in there! Being organized helps keep my time focused on healthy cooking. More from scratch than convenience.

  • Here's my tip to share...I have a thing for boxes...so at work, when a box that our printer machine paper comes in is ready to be pitched...I take it and put the lid of the box on the bottom of it for more reinforcement...and use it to put my lids in...I just slide it in and out of my cabinet when I need a lid...all the lids stay contained in one box and I just pull out what I need and then slide the box back into the cabinet. I do this for all my plastic ware too.

  • @shanana000 ~ Fantastic tip!! Very frugal and a great use of re-purposing something that most people would either toss or at best recycle! Thanks for sharing this! It may be helpful to someone who can't do what I showed.

    Best Blessing!

  • Which piece did you use for the background and intro music?

  • @princesstootsweet3 ~ Hi! Wow I wish I could remember....my son still has the CD so I can't find the list of songs, but I KNOW it's Motzart. (o: That may not be as helpful... When I get the CD back I'll look and let you know. Hmmm wonder when that will happen?...this video is 3 years old (yep, my grandfather just turned 100!!) and my son still has my CD!

Maybe you can search some Motzart and find it before I do! (o:

  • good vid, but audio is really soft

  • @iloveyadin21 ~ Thanks! I wish we could re-do it, but alas it will have to stay as it is... Hopefully at least the idea and point get across.

    Thanks for the comment!

  • @Nathan5561 ~ Sorry not to reply sooner - I'm not getting notices for some reason!

We've tried this, and likely it's the one who puts the dishes away that finds this frustrating and puts lids 'wherever'...so then we lose them. But, if it works for someone else...yep, it sure is cheaper! (o:

    Thanks for commenting and watching!

  • We do this slightly different and its even $2.50 cheaper, Stack the lids on top of your pans, Inverted, then your pans stack neatly and you can always find the lids, Unless of cause you hang your pans then this is a great tip thanks

  • @thewheatguy thank you :-)
