Travelwheels campervans are avaliable for sale or rent and we specialise in converting any van to your exact specifications. This particular model has a BIG double bed, plenty of storage and a dual battery system which runs the 55 litre fridge and all the internal lights.

This means you can use the lights at night time and the fridge will stay cool even when the engine is switched off. It also has a couple of spare sockets to power iPods, mp3 adaptors when you are travelling.

For more information about custom built campervans to rent or buy Australia wide, check us out on the web at http://www.travelwheels.com.au

  • Hi alanheath, thanks for your comments which are valid. In the end we decided to go for the bigger fridge as that's what our customers prefer. However, we can make campervans with smaller fridges and if you need any more information feel free to email us. Thanks again for your comments, your Travelwheels Team

  • I think the fridge there is far too big. The very lowest electricity pull I have seen on a small compressor fridge was 13A/day but this one is going to be running at closer to 3a/h meaning that with a 90A battery one is not going to get much more than 24 hours standing time with around five hours needed to charge it up. Obviously one is going to need mains hook up!

Having said that, I would be happy to consider you for any future conversion I will need!
