The following video includes the introduction and part 1 of 3 of the documentary film, "Tres Historias de Guatemala" (Hand Made: Three Stories from Guatemala). It follows a young, indigenous Guatemalan journalist through his country as he talks to his fellow Guatemalans about their culture, history and traditions. I produced/directed and co-edited this 1/2 hour program as a requirement completion of my MFA degree from the University of Texas, Austin in 2002.

  • Does anyone know of an online site where I could purchase typical hand woven materials like blankets or bedspreads etc? I can't find any and on Ebay they take advantage of Americans by selling some blankets each at over $100 when I know that in Guatemala the most that one could cost is $10.
