Red, White & Blue (sort of), Part 1

Finally had a chance to check out a different location, which is an inlet to a local lake. Wish I'd been able to get here sooner, before the plants started to grow in; but it was fun anyway. These are Pleaser 33" platform thigh high vinyl boots with a 5-1/2" big chunky heel.

Thanks guys... I've been wanting to get this set out for a while, just decided this was a good time. Unfortunately, one thing I've learned about this area, a lot of the soil is clay based, which means the mud isn't very deep usually, and it is very, very sticky. Here at the lake inlet, I have a top layer of silt washing into the lake, with a layer of thick, clay-based mud beneath. It's not hard to get stuck here, and it's very damaging to heels... my left heel on these boots is now loose :(.

mmmmmmmmmm, those gloves and boots start out so so shiny and clean. But not for long :)
