First ever demonstration of Galaxia Lighting product on a Mega Tree.

  • How much did it all cost?

  • Around $2,250 for the 12 strings of white and the controller. White (mono) is no longer availalbe. The RGB product costs even more.

  • Looks great! How many Galaxia strands are you using? Also was wind a problem? How did you create a good light map? Did you create it on a flat surface first or up on the mega tree?

  • It took 10 strings on the tree and 2 more shooting off the top for pixie dust effects. Wind was never a problem for me. I fixed my map using Excel to plug the holes and then saved the file as a tab delimited text file with a .glm name extension. It was easy to see the patterns the coordinates were making and extrapolate the correct coordinate. I laid all of this out on the floor of my living room first. The triangle was 17' x 14' with a rounded base.
