That's Fava beans you wonk...

The only argument, besides a moral one, for not eating other people is the possibility of species specific diseases and honestly those can be avoided by certain simple checks and a quick DNA sampling... If it passes its still safe. I prefer Not to eat my fellow humans though. But a cow or Bambi are right there at the top of my menu.
