Well friends, contrary to our British and French friends, it is already a bit more difficult here to receive transatlantic mediumwave stations from North America here in NW-Germany and finally I can count them on my ten fingers.
Usually, WEGP 1390 from Presque Isle, Maine and WWZN 1510 from Boston, Mass. are the one and only stations, I can receive here almost every night even the conditions are "lousy".
Due to a stricter working plan these weeks, last night was the first chance to do some MW-DX and I can open the new MW-season with a brand new station from a brand new US-state: WPTX 1690 Lexington Park, Maryland - YEEEHAAAWWW !!! :-)
This video was made outside on a bridge of highway A31 just a few hundred meters away from my flat: The bridge railing helps to enhance mediumwave-signals in a kind of "beverage antenna effect".
