  • I think getting the houses demolished became the purpose. A field of flowers or a crack den? You decide.

  • Great idea.

Someone should donate an airless sprayer and a small generator to you guys.

  • The whole west end of my city would be as Orange as a traffic cone. The city is remolding the downtown area and business district but completely ignoring the urban decay and resulting crime rate on the west end of the old coaling industry buildings. so this is a awesome idea.

  • They should use chartreuse.

  • surely they could catch these guys by seeing who buys all the orange paint?

  • haha now u knoe i would be like wtf too

  • yeah i thought that was werid too.... what i liked about it was not that the city was taking the houses down ...but that for onuce the poor /ghetto places are getting attention .....the city just trys to ignor prob (not just in detroit but its goin on everywhere) ... out of sight out of mind ...its just bullshitt we spend taxes and the rich get richer ...when they could put the money to real use.....did i mention im really high right now???

  • I love this, it's so beautiful. I wish I could be a part of it.

  • Maybe you should stop medicating yourself and start thinking of the children yourself.

  • lol talk to some graffiti artists what they love most about there art is the fact its never permanent and what they created lives for a short while then dies so new art can be formed. these guys operate in the same way were the turn urban decay into art then there art is replaced with nature.

  • I thought its going to be about agent orange.

  • they want people to notice it; so it may later be destroyed and then plants and such may grow, instead of it rotting away for abandoned animals to stay in and kids to get hurt in.
