The Big Sleep (Disc 1) Part 1

Hello all! Change of plan. I will now be uploading the "awesome" radio adaptation of the rest of the Philip Marlowe books, done by the epicness which is Raymond Chandler, and adapted by Bill Morrison! Coming up will be the 2nd book Farewell, My Lovely and the 6th book, The Long Goodbye.

We begin with Marlowe encountering the Sternwood family:
General Sternwood: Who is dying yet loves the smell of cigarettes(explanation much?)
Carmen: Who enjoys giggling and letting herself fall for people to catch her
Vivian Regan: Fell for an Irish freebooter, has dimpled knees, and has a gambling addiction
After making an impressive impersonation as a book nerd, Marlowe finds that Geiger in fact likes it "What, What, In the butt" and tails him to his house, where Carmen turns up a few minutes later. Soon, a scream and gunshots end the silence in the night.......

As no one seems to have commented so far just let me say thanks for the upload. "It struck me like the rain spilling down the gauge of 38 calibre magnum strikes a guy who just turned down the wrong alley in the wrong neighbourhood." Just thought I would get a little Chandleresque there. I have heard and read bits of the Big Sleep without reading the whole thing so this should be interesting. Its good to have this on Youtube. You never know when the urge to listen to a classic may emerge.
