@jtstratify first 8 words true as true. The rest, garbage. They were only the greatest rock n roll band of all time while he was a member. When a 20 year old kid plays his first gig with the 2nd most popular band in the world in front of several hundred thousand people, I think he can handle pressure the likes of which most of us can't even imagine.

@kleermaker1000 well...Mick T. is the best Stones guitar player, then Keith and then Ronnie. Mr. Wood was a good choice to replace Mick T. but hell...only one Mick T. and the Stones best songs come from the period in which Mick was lead guitarist. Exile, Sticky Fingers, Time Waits for no one and probably his best is off Little Queenie where he sounds like Chuck Berry

@Tapiola2007 Taylor left because he was bored of this band and because they dont credited him on record ...
-
@fondofrory Wrong, douche! Everything I said is a matter of public record and has been confirmed by every member of the band in one way or another.

@Tapiola2007 An other guy who looked wilkipedia and repeat like an idiot all these wrong things .

@jtstratify No, Mick Taylor left The Stones because when he joined up in 1969 he was a tee-total vegetarian with a very healthy lifestyle and happy relationship. By 1974 he was hooked on heroin and fucking his life up. It's also possible he felt underappreciated within the band - although publicly he denies that. When Taylor left the band his virtuoisity was never replaced. Ronnie Wood is no Mick Taylor and despite his great work for The Faces Woody was relegated to second chair.

If not for Mick Taylor I would have passed the Stones by. It was his sound that sucked me in at 14.

There are only 3 equal places on Olimpus Summit.
One for Jimi Hendrix, one for Jimmi Page,
and one for Mick Taylor.
Others guitar players sit on second row, awaiting...

@jtstratify mt said the craziness of it made him want to get out of the spin.Not getting ANY writing credits in CYHMK,exile tunes,goats head soups tunes,etc. made him realize he was still a temporary hired hand.
I have seen/heard bad, horrible, not so good stones live since 75(love ya live did not sell like ya's-ya's,etc).BUT have never heard a tune by MT that people did not stop and look/listen.This youtube montage u hear MJ call his name on bootleg.On L & G The RS it is "play guitar ...BOY!

He has rare talent in feeling the music and in imprivasition....But he seems that he does not look after himself.Too overweighed.His awesome beautiful apparences had turned into a sumo wrestler.Pity..

@kleermaker1000 ha no kidding.
-
@jtstratify No..... He didn't want to spend the rest of his life playing jumping jack flash every gig. He's a free spirit and plays what and where and with whom he wants.
Are the first 2 songs "Winter"?
